Out and about.

The lovely Adine snapped in the garden at Virgin Active, Durban. Adine is a classically trained dancer and it shows!
Also seen at Virgin Active is Safi who works there. By adding that pretty headscarf she instantly brightened up her working day clothes.

Street Style!

 The charming village of Hyères

Love the street fashion blog on www.elle.coza/category/fashionstreet-style.  Malibongiwe Tyilo did a great blog on the 27th international fashion festival in the little town of Hyères on the Cote d'Azur in Fance. Ann and I spent sometime there two years ago prowling the markets, gorging on olives, cheese and figs!! We absolutely loved it.  Have put on some of our pics. Now look at the above blog and see why we are desperate to go back.
Street savvy!

A view of the village square and the tower.

Mmmm! Those olives!

Ooh la la!  Vive la France!!

A good day at the iheart Market in Durban on the 5th of May 2012

It was a lovely day out for all and sundry at the iheart market on Saturday. Here are a few pictures of our stall and some of the interesting people who make this market so interesting  and unique!

Our vintage stall was a great success once again!

Trendy people in the know are starting to recognise the value in vintage, the prices are good and the quality unsurpassable! Best of all they are all "one offs" so never again will you arrive at a function only to see someone else in the same outfit!

This remarkable lady epitomises all that is wonderful about being bang on trend! Good for you Anita.

Yet again someone who shows that having a great fashion sense is more to do with her own way of putting an outfit together than with being a fashion slave!  Well done Cathy, a local Durban lass.

A sojourn in Australia and New Zealand.

Have returned from a holiday down under, in the cities of  Perth and Tauranga. As you know one is in Australia and the other in New Zealand.  Whilst there I was very much interested to know how "vintage" They have gone and much to my delight found there was plenty to be seen!

I also delighted in viewing some street fashion and found that the young girls the world over love to dress in quirky and edgy styles! In Perth they all favoured short, shorts with the inevitable tights if the weather proved chilly.

All in all I was pleased to note that in spite of a reputation of a casual and "no worries" dress code, fashion exists and they love it!

Dita von Teese "Alive and well" in New Zealand.

The Delectable Dita as seen in down town Tauranga New Zealand!
